Hosting and security
Cloudflare delivers the site and protects its infrastructure. Requests necessarily include technical information such as an IP address, browser headers and the requested address. Hosting and security logs may process this information to deliver pages, investigate errors and resist abuse. This page does not promise a particular log-retention period or storage country that we have not independently verified. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Audience measurement
The production site uses a self-hosted Plausible Analytics instance at plausible.pangshu.link to understand readership. Page views and aggregate reading, source-link, vendor-link, related-story and language-switch events help us improve the site. Event properties describe the page language, topic, story, placement or destination domain; they do not include email addresses, typed content or account identifiers. Page views and custom events use canonical page addresses without queries or fragments. Referrers are reduced to their origin; source-page paths and queries are not sent. Local development and preview visits do not send analytics.
Plausible is designed to operate without analytics cookies or persistent cross-site identifiers. Our instance is self-hosted; Plausible's commercial hosting location and retention commitments do not automatically describe this installation. We do not claim that its backend retention settings have been independently audited. The software's general data model is explained in Plausible's data policy.
Browser storage and external links
There is no sign-in, advertising pixel or embedded video player in this launch. A local theme preference may be written by the site's interface library; it is not a visitor identifier. The site uses the light theme. Language selection is represented by the page URL rather than an analytics cookie.
YouTube references and AI vendor links are ordinary external links. Their services receive your request only when you follow the link, and their own policies then apply. HotRank does not receive your vendor uploads, generated videos, payments or account credentials. Review the vendor's policy before submitting someone else's photograph.
Email and requests
If you email us, your address, message and any attachments are processed to answer your inquiry or correct a report. Do not send passwords or unnecessary personal information. You can request access to, correction of or deletion of information you sent, subject to the technical records and obligations applicable to the request. We will explain any limitation rather than promise deletion of data we cannot identify.
Changes
We update this page when the site's data handling materially changes. Questions and correction requests can be sent to hot@hotrank.today. See our editorial policy for how we handle factual corrections.
