The short answer: The easiest-looking Hotel Lobby AI sites do not sell identical videos. Some advertise a fixed 15-second clip, others sell credits that can be used for different resolutions, and some mix one-time packs with recurring subscriptions. Before choosing, check your required output length, orientation, audio, rights and total amount payable. These are documented options, not a hands-on ranking of video quality.
Four options worth comparing
| Service | Seller's described format | Listed purchase offer | What the offer does—and doesn't—prove |
|---|---|---|---|
| TryHotelLobby | Two-photo preset; example default 15 seconds / 768p | US$4.99 once for one default video | Straightforward posted entry price; actual payment and output not independently tested |
| HotelLobby.ai | Two photos; preset 15-second output at variable resolutions | US$9.90 once buys 50 credits; 720p costs 45 credits per video | One 720p output appears to fit this pack; not five or unlimited clips |
| HotelLobbyAI.co | Generator with monthly and one-time credits | Website lists US$9.90/month for 80 credits, or US$9.90 once for 70 credits | The listed 15-second 720p render costs 120 credits, so the entry offers don't cover that format; rendering availability may vary |
| AI Rap Duo | Two-photo or duo-photo generated rap performance with optional story | Site lists US$9.99 one-time for 10 credits and monthly plans | Per-video cost varies by settings; the Standard-mode credit figures conflict; check the live quote |
Comparison caveat: These rows represent different lengths, output resolutions and credit bundles. The cheapest sticker price is not a quality winner and does not make products interchangeable. Prices and offerings are USD values visible on vendor-owned sites on the research date; there were no test purchases.
Choose by the job, not a made-up overall winner
A single low-cost attempt: TryHotelLobby presents an easy-to-understand per-default-video offer on its pricing page. That doesn't certify the output will meet a particular quality bar. A choice of resolutions: HotelLobby.ai provides published credit charges for 480p, 720p and 1080p; compute the credit requirement before paying, rather than dividing the starter pack price by an arbitrary count. Multiple clips every month: A subscription could be relevant, but read credit expiry and cancellation terms. Custom generated lyrics or sound: Investigate the product's specific audio workflow rather than assuming it legally includes the original recording.
The price trap: a credit pack is not a video pack
HotelLobby.ai's official page lists 50 credits for US$9.90. The same page lists 20 credits for one 15-second 480p video, 45 for 720p and 80 for 1080p. That means the entry pack is enough for one 720p video but not one 1080p video. This conclusion follows the provider's advertised conversion rules, not proof of a successful render. On HotelLobbyAI.co, the displayed 15-second 720p charge is 120 credits, higher than its listed 80-credit base monthly plan or 70-credit entry top-up.
Before you pay: the five-part check
- Input: Does the product accept two separate photos, a duo photo, or a source performance clip? Are you authorized to use each image?
- Output: Confirm the exact length, resolution, orientation, audio and download rights shown at checkout.
- Charge: Look for credits per render and whether a failed job returns credits; returning credits is not the same as a card-payment refund.
- Availability: A landing page or pricing table does not prove generation is running, and a demonstration is not a live test.
- Sharing: Consider permission from both people depicted and rights in any soundtrack or performance being replicated.
What we did—and did not—test
HotRank compared live public product pages and pricing text, but did not log in, submit private portraits, run a paid job or inspect the resulting MP4. We therefore make no claim about output fidelity, speed, accuracy, successful checkout, platform uptime or an absolute 'best' generator. A future controlled test would use the same consenting or synthetic images, define the target duration and video characteristics beforehand, save output and billable cost, and disclose any sponsorship. Until then this is an editorial selection guide based on published specifications.

A credit conflict worth checking at checkout
AIRapDuo.com currently shows Standard, 720p, 12 seconds at 6 credits in its model/price table, while its FAQ describes the same Standard setting as 10 credits. Its selected default is Fast, 720p, 12 seconds at 18 credits, a different mode. The US$9.99 pack contains 10 credits: it does not cover the displayed Fast default. The page is internally inconsistent about Standard; we cannot resolve that discrepancy into one guaranteed per-video price without an actual quote or transaction. Confirm the selected mode and charge before submitting.
The similarly named airapduo.io walkthrough is a separate domain with its own offers. It is useful as a vendor example of a two-photo newly generated performance, but its US$4.99 price must not be substituted for the airapduo.com comparison row.
Inputs, movement and music are separate choices
| Site | Advertised input | Performance and audio description |
|---|---|---|
| TryHotelLobby | Two portraits with a fixed performance template | Preset remake; the pricing page warns motion and audio can differ from the reference |
| HotelLobby.ai | Two authorized photos, one subject per photo | A 15-second 16:9 template edit aiming to follow choreography; the selected template soundtrack is restored |
| HotelLobbyAI.co | One portrait, with an optional second for a duet | Advertised orange-booth motion-control preset, vertical 9:16; the page describes original-performance timing |
| AIRapDuo.com | Two separate portraits or one photo of both people | Rap Duo makes new rap vocals/music; the Hotel Lobby effect in Effects uses its stated original-music/performance route |
These are seller descriptions, not four independently verified technical pipelines. A two-photo input does not itself tell you whether the service copies motion or makes a new song. No workflow automatically supplies all permissions for a face, source clip or soundtrack.
Free examples, downloads and failed jobs
| Site | Public terms observed | What remains unverified |
|---|---|---|
| TryHotelLobby | The example is free to watch; personal generation needs purchased credits. Downloads are included. The default H3 15-second 768p offer uses 240 credits. Confirmed failures restore credits; completed results still consume them. | Successful payment/output, watermark behavior and rights for your specific use |
| HotelLobby.ai | Enough credits and login are required. Failed or blocked generations return reserved credits. The site states finished-video downloads last seven days. | Actual file quality, download availability and payment-refund eligibility |
| HotelLobbyAI.co | The FAQ advertises one daily free 6-second 480p preview without sound only when rendering is online. It also says nothing can start when rendering is offline. | The headline says rendering is live; the conditional FAQ does not establish current uptime. We have not tested free or paid rendering. |
| AIRapDuo.com | Generation uses credits; completed paid videos can be downloaded. Failed paid jobs restore credits, and a new attempt is a new generation. | Standard credit discrepancy, actual output, watermark and successful download |
A credit restoration keeps value within the service; a cash refund returns a payment under separate terms. An unwanted but successfully completed output is not necessarily a failed job. Check TryHotelLobby's terms, HotelLobby.ai's terms, HotelLobbyAI.co's refund policy and AIRapDuo's refund policy for applicable conditions before purchase.
The cash-refund rules also differ. TryHotelLobby says it reviews unused-credit requests individually. HotelLobbyAI.co advertises a seven-day refund window for an unused pack, with its definition of unused tied to successful renders. AIRapDuo.com states a seven-day window for purchased packs, including unused purchased credits in a partially used pack. HotelLobby.ai's pricing page promises credit restoration for failed or blocked jobs, not a universal cash refund. These are published policies, not refund claims we have exercised.
What the privacy statements establish
HotelLobby.ai states an intended maximum 24-hour retention for source-image binaries after completion/failure or cleanup, while noting remote-provider deletion can require retries. HotelLobbyAI.co says photos are removed from temporary storage after processing and are not used for training. Those are vendor policy statements, not independently verified deletion records. We have not audited the four services' storage, providers or retention enforcement. Inspect each current privacy policy before uploading, and do not upload sensitive images simply because a page advertises deletion.
Get both participants' permission. Check music and posting rights separately, including restrictions on minors, celebrities or impersonation. A merchant's “commercial use” or platform-library suggestion is not a blanket license for every element of your video.
